Paper drills beat another indicator video
We get polite pushback: why print charts when platforms replay history with one click? Because replay still lets you scrub, zoom, and hesitate without consequence. Paper with a timer does not.
What the timer changes
When you have ninety seconds to mark swings on a fresh sheet, you stop hunting for a perfect narrative. You make a call, accept that some bars are ambiguous, and move on. That muscle is closer to live decision pressure than watching a recorded webinar at 1.5× speed.
What we do not claim
Paper drills do not replace risk management, journal work, or screen time on your broker platform. They sharpen the narrow skill of reading structure and momentum tells under mild stress.
Try this week
Take one daily chart. Print it twice. Mark the first copy without a clock. Mark the second with a three-minute limit. Compare hesitation points. Those hesitation zones are where your live plan needs clearer rules.
